Call it larceny. Jermod McCoy sat on the board until the Round 7 slot, and the Bears did not need to be asked twice. A dependable weekend that grades out a B+.

Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

They chose more darts over a bigger single swing.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
