The Texans spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Michael Wiley, the No. 190 name on the board, in the 239th pick. It washes out to a C, no better and no worse.

They will need Abrams-Draine to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back.

The Smith pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at tight end. They will regret leaving tight end for another day if the season turns on it.

Hit on Dallas Turner and the swing picks, and this ages a lot better than it grades today.
