The rest of the league will want that one back. Elic Ayomanor tumbling to the Patriots in slot 139 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. Just about everything broke right, and the A- follows.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

They are betting Hancock proves the room right and everyone else wrong. It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.

Few war rooms will sleep better than this one tonight.
