When a board-topper like Christen Miller slides to Round 3, Pick 4, you do not overthink it, and the Eagles did not. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.
A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. They will need Allar to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.
A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
Pick-by-Pick
Good price on Avieon Terrell in No. 23, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Kamari Ramsey in the 57th pick is a gift, value that borders on unfair. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Christen Miller in Round 3, Pick 4 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Nicholas Singleton at the 98th overall pick. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Drew Allar at pick 122 is a conviction pick that outran the value. A need, and now a little less of one.
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Michael Trigg at slot 129 is the proof. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
A market-rate offensive lineman, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Max Iheanachor. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
