Minnesota Vikings

The Vikings cashed the board's mistake on Henderson: B.

When a board-topper like TreVeyon Henderson slides to the 138th pick, you do not overthink it, and the Vikings did not.

A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want. The trade work was a quiet net positive.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.

Pick-by-Pick

R1.25 · Pick 25 · Josh Simmons · OT · rank 20
In Round 1, Pick 25 they get a plug-and-play piece up front. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
R3.25 · Pick 89 · Tyleik Williams · DT · rank 53
Tyleik Williams in the 89th overall pick should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. The roster fit checks out.
R3.33 · Pick 97 · Colston Loveland · TE · rank 46
A top-tier tight end at a bargain, Colston Loveland in pick 97, plain and simple. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
R5.1 · Pick 138 · TreVeyon Henderson · RB · rank 60
They robbed the room for TreVeyon Henderson here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
R5.22 · Pick 159 · Luke Kandra · OG · rank 104
They will replay Luke Kandra at the Round 5 slot for years; that is how good the value is. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
