Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Steelers spent pick No. 53 on Carson Beck, a name most had 68 spots down the list. Call it a C+ and check back in two years.
The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Job largely done: quarterback settled and 1 of 9 of the wish list covered.
The verdict is a shrug for now, with the swing picks left to write the real ending.
