New York Giants

The Giants bet the future on Daniels. The board says B-.

The search is over. The Giants handed the keys to Jayden Daniels, and the whole operation now runs on his development.

Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Getting McConkey where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.

Pick-by-Pick

R1.6 · Pick 6 · Jayden Daniels · QB · rank 6
In pick 6 they get the face of the franchise. A real need, handled.
R2.15 · Pick 47 · Ladd McConkey · WR · rank 34
The board had Ladd McConkey higher than the 47th pick, and the wide receiver fell to them anyway. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
R3.6 · Pick 70 · Sedrick Van Pran · C · rank 72
A market-rate offensive lineman, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Sedrick Van Pran. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
R4.7 · Pick 107 · Cole Bishop · S · rank 104
Cole Bishop at the Round 4 slot nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
R5.5 · Pick 141 · Christian Jones · OT · rank 133
Value with a capital V on Christian Jones in slot 141, a genuine coup. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
R6.8 · Pick 183 · AJ Barner · TE · rank 172
AJ Barner in pick No. 183 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
