After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Patriots committed. Jayden Daniels is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

The cost of the DeLoach reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend.

The Jones pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. The tight end spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
