If one pick saves this weekend, it is Jackson. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. They were the ones paying the moving tax this weekend.
It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.

Logan Brown in the Round 2 slot is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
A real head-scratcher, Darien Porter in the 49th pick is miles ahead of his ranking. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
The board had Landon Jackson higher than pick No. 52, and the interior defensive lineman fell to them anyway. It fills a real need, too.
A wild overpay on Antonio Williams in Round 4, Pick 18, the sort that defines a class for the wrong reasons. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
