The rest of the league had time to spare on Jalyx Hunt; the Chargers did not wait, grabbing him 26 spots ahead at No. 105. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.
It is not that Hunt is a bad player; it is that the Chargers had louder needs to answer first. A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Polk.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.

In the 8th pick they get a ballhawk on the outside, though they paid up to get him. The biggest hole, addressed.
