The rest of the league will want that one back. Cody Simon tumbling to the Commanders in pick 236 is a gift they did not have to think twice about.

Reaching for Jackson left real value on the table behind him. The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. They will answer for taking linebacker early while edge rusher and quarterback went begging.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. It is a win-now wager, and the future is the stake.

About as rough as a weekend gets on paper, with edge rusher still staring back at them.
