You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Chargers did exactly that with Karsen Barnhart in the 253rd pick.

A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. However the rest shakes out, Pearsall at that price is a win they earned.

They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
