The Cowboys spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Dillon Gabriel, the No. 129 name on the board, in the 204th pick. Good, not great, and the B says as much.
The cornerback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. On the needs board they went 6 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but cornerback.

In Round 1, Pick 12 they get a true top target. Exactly the need they had to hit.
