More right than wrong for the Cowboys, and a B- to prove it.

Every other box got a look, but wide receiver did not. The Cowboys will head to camp with the same hole they walked in with. No fireworks, but a solid B-.
Colson falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. Tagovailoa has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.
Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick 24 they get an anchor for the offensive line. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
They paid sticker price for T'Vondre Sweat in the Round 2 slot, and that is fine. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
The board had Junior Colson higher than Round 3, Pick 24, and the linebacker fell to them anyway. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
MarShawn Lloyd in slot 124 is fair value, right on his grade. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
No edge and no loss on Jaylan Ford in the 174th pick; it is a wash and a sensible one. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
They paid a round early for Taulia Tagovailoa in No. 212, more than the board wanted. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Dwight McGlothern at pick No. 245 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
