Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Bears came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close. Just about everything broke right, and the A follows.
If one pick saves this weekend, it is Carson. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Bears paired the rookies with proven help, Zay Flowers leading the way.
Job largely done: cornerback settled and 3 of 8 of the wish list covered.
In the end it comes back to Cooper DeJean, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
