The Buccaneers did not so much draft Ethan Downs as overpay for him, 55 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend.
That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. However the rest shakes out, Watts at that price is a win they earned.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
