For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Buccaneers walked out of the weekend still thin at interior defensive lineman, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons.
The Coker pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes.
Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
Pick-by-Pick
In Round 1, Pick 24 they get a ballhawk on the outside at fair value.
They took Zach Frazier at par in the Round 2 slot, which is nothing to complain about. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
