The Chiefs did not so much draft Mason Reiger as overpay for him, 32 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. They will answer for taking cornerback early while quarterback went begging.

Cooper Jr. falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Bottom line, with Sonny Styles leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
