The Cowboys spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: M.J. Devonshire, the No. 192 name on the board, in pick No. 233.
Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
They are betting Bortolini proves the room right and everyone else wrong.
Bottom line, with Troy Fautanu leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.

Troy Fautanu slipping to the 34th pick is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
A straight-up fair deal on Xavier Worthy at the Round 2 slot, value and slot in agreement. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
A market-rate running back, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Bucky Irving. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
