Start where it matters. The Falcons took Michael Penix Jr. to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.
For all the activity, offensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain. Mitchell falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.
Job largely done: quarterback settled and 3 of 8 of the wish list covered. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.
A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.

In the Round 1 slot they get the face of the franchise. The biggest hole, addressed.
Adonai Mitchell in the 41st pick is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Jack Sawyer at Round 3, Pick 9 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
They paid sticker price for Brenden Rice in pick No. 109, and that is fine. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
