Call it larceny. Donovan Jackson sat on the board until pick 114, and the Cardinals did not need to be asked twice.
If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. On the needs board they went 3 of 8, with offensive lineman the one that mattered most. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.
Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Mason Graham in the 16th overall pick. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Jihaad Campbell in Round 2, Pick 15 is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
A straight-up fair deal on Darien Porter at slot 81, value and slot in agreement. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Taking Donovan Jackson in pick 114 is close to grand larceny; an offensive lineman that good had no business lasting this long. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
