Call it larceny. Kyle McCord sat on the board until No. 153, and the Cardinals did not need to be asked twice. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.
If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through wide receiver. The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes.
The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.
Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
Pick-by-Pick
In Round 1, Pick 16 they get an anchor for the defensive front at fair value.
They read the board right and Omarion Hampton was the payoff at the 47th overall pick. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Donovan Jackson in the Round 3 slot is exactly on the number, no argument either way. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Carson Schwesinger at slot 114 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. A need, and now a little less of one.
