The Cardinals did not so much draft Jalon Walker as overpay for him, 80 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. A mixed bag that lands at C+.
The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Campbell pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.
Offensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
A perfectly average weekend, for better and for worse.

Jalon Walker at Round 2, Pick 18 is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Value with a capital V on Kenneth Grant in No. 82, a genuine coup. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Omarr Norman-Lott in pick No. 119 is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. It fills a real need, too.
