When a board-topper like TreVeyon Henderson slides to Round 4, Pick 12, you do not overthink it, and the Cardinals did not.
The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Roberts reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 16th overall pick they get a load in the middle, and a steal at that. A clean fit for the roster.
Nothing to complain about; Matthew Golden went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
The board fumbled Jihaad Campbell all the way to the 78th pick, and they scooped it up. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
A top-tier running back at a bargain, TreVeyon Henderson in Round 4, Pick 12, plain and simple. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
