You build a draft on nights like this. TreVeyon Henderson had no business being available in the 126th overall pick, and the Cowboys did the only sane thing and turned in the card. The board rewarded a patient, disciplined weekend with a A-.
The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped cornerback, which is a strange place to end up.
Adding Cordell Volson by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies. They bet on numbers rather than a single high pick.
In the end it comes back to Mason Graham, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
