When a board-topper like DJ James slides to the 120th overall pick, you do not overthink it, and the Eagles did not.
The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Trotter Jr. reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade.
Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
