The Cowboys went off the board in a big way for Evan Anderson, 39 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.
The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. They banked enough surplus on Devonshire to cover a lot of smaller sins.
Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
Pick-by-Pick
In Round 1, Pick 24 they get a premier pass rusher, reach and all. More want than need.
They liked Kingsley Suamataia enough to skip the value, taking him in pick No. 56. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
A market-rate offensive lineman, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Christian Mahogany. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
