The rest of the league will want that one back. Anthony Gould tumbling to the Cowboys in the 216th pick is a gift they did not have to think twice about. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.
They are betting Wallace proves the room right and everyone else wrong. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.

In the 30th overall pick they get protection for the quarterback. The biggest hole, addressed.
No drama and no debate, T'Vondre Sweat went about where he belonged in the Round 2 slot. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
MarShawn Lloyd in the 87th pick is fair value, right on his grade. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Trevin Wallace at slot 93 is an overdraft of the loud, memorable kind. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
