You build a draft on nights like this. Nehemiah Pritchett had no business being available in the 233rd pick, and the Cowboys did the only sane thing and turned in the card. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.
If Wallace pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.
A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 24th pick they get a go-to option on the outside, outstanding value to boot. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Zach Frazier in the 56th overall pick is exactly on the number, no argument either way. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
They took Trey Benson at par in slot 87, which is nothing to complain about. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Walter Rouse at pick 174. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Trevin Wallace in pick No. 216 is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Nehemiah Pritchett at No. 233 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Circle this one: Myles Harden at the Round 7 slot is a fall that decides a draft. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
