Seattle Seahawks

The Seahawks landed square in the muddy middle: C+.

The Seahawks looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Caden Curry at No. 64 regardless, 67 picks early. A mixed bag that lands at C+.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The back end got a real overhaul.

Hit on D'Angelo Ponds and the swing picks, and this ages a lot better than it grades today.

Pick-by-Pick

R1.32 · Pick 32 · D'Angelo Ponds · CB · rank 47
In the Round 1 slot they get a lockdown presence outside, reach and all. Need was not the driver here.
R2.32 · Pick 64 · Caden Curry · DE-EDGE · rank 131
A real head-scratcher, Caden Curry in No. 64 is miles ahead of his ranking. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
R3.32 · Pick 96 · Zxavian Harris · DT · rank 155
They reached into another round for Zxavian Harris, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
R6.7 · Pick 188 · Keagen Trost · OT · rank 182
Fair-plus on Keagen Trost, a quiet win that adds up over a draft. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
