This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Jalen Green, the No. 212 name on the board, stolen at slot 240. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

Ulofoshio has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. A whole weekend of picks and wide receiver is somehow still a want. Job largely done: cornerback settled and 3 of 8 of the wish list covered.

The Kyle Allen pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the wide receiver spot they never got to.

Pick-by-Pick

R1.24 · Pick 24 · Jordan Morgan · OT · rank 26
In pick 24 they get an anchor for the offensive line. The biggest hole, addressed.
R3.3 · Pick 67 · Mike Sainristil · CB · rank 81
They went early on Mike Sainristil in Round 3, Pick 3, and the value did not follow. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
R3.24 · Pick 87 · Sedrick Van Pran · C · rank 90
No drama and no debate, Sedrick Van Pran went about where he belonged in the 87th pick. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
R3.37 · Pick 100 · Marist Liufau · LB · rank 86
A slide stopped in the 100th overall pick, with Marist Liufau worth more than the price. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
R4.28 · Pick 128 · Edefuan Ulofoshio · LB · rank 156
Edefuan Ulofoshio at slot 128 is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
R6.31 · Pick 206 · Sheridan Jones · CB · rank 221
They liked Sheridan Jones enough to skip the value, taking him in pick No. 206. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
R6.37 · Pick 212 · Trevor Keegan · OG · rank 234
A wild overpay on Trevor Keegan in the Round 6 slot, the sort that defines a class for the wrong reasons. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
R7.13 · Pick 233 · Daequan Hardy · CB · rank 225
They read the board right and Daequan Hardy was the payoff at No. 233. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
R7.20 · Pick 240 · Jalen Green · S · rank 212
Jalen Green at No. 240 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. It adds depth where they could use a little.
R7.25 · Pick 245 · Derek Wingo · LB · rank 265
They reached into another round for Derek Wingo, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
