Thirty-one other rooms let Decamerion Richardson slide, and the Chiefs were the ones holding the card at the Round 7 slot. Highway robbery. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

They will need Jefferson to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. Leaving tight end unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the tight end spot they never got to.
