There is conviction, and then there is this. The Raiders took Roman Hemby a full 128 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend.

The whole projection now runs through Fernando Mendoza; hit there and everything else looks smarter. They will regret leaving wide receiver for another day if the season turns on it.

The Everette pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
