The war room fell hard for Jaden Shirden, and it showed at the 184th pick: 195 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas. Little went right, and the F does not pretend otherwise.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. They will regret leaving cornerback for another day if the season turns on it. Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers.

Bottom line, it will take a lot of luck to make this look better later.
