You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Chargers did exactly that with Jawhar Jordan in the Round 4 slot. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

The Jacobs pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The trade work was a quiet net positive.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
