Nobody had Jaylon Hutchings this high, and it is not close. The Chargers reached 101 spots to get him at the Round 7 slot. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Guyton pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss. Interior defensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
