The war room fell hard for Robert Spears-Jennings, and it showed at the Round 6 slot: 50 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.
Hunter falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
They left with interior defensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
