When a board-topper like Jaylin Simpson slides to the 183rd overall pick, you do not overthink it, and the Chargers did not. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.
The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 4 of 8 of the wish list covered.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
