The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: M.J. Devonshire, No. 252, roughly 48 picks past where he belonged. No fireworks, but a solid B.
The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer. They are betting Baker proves the room right and everyone else wrong. On the needs board they went 3 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most.
The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.
Good work on the whole, with tight end the one box left unchecked.

In the 32nd pick they get a run-stuffing presence up front, outstanding value to boot. A clean fit for the roster.
A reach on Javon Baker in pick 64; the board had better options right there. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Taking Blake Fisher in Round 3, Pick 32 is close to grand larceny; an offensive lineman that good had no business lasting this long. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
They let Jarrian Jones come to them and pounced at No. 132. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
