You could see the war room lean forward. Andrew Mukuba at slot 132 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.
That offensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. They went 4 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the offensive lineman spot they never got to.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 32nd pick they get a go-to option on the outside, and a steal at that. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Taking Omarion Hampton in Round 2, Pick 32 is close to grand larceny; a running back that good had no business lasting this long. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Somehow Jihaad Campbell was still sitting there in slot 66, and they pounced on premier linebacker value. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
The board fumbled Harold Fannin Jr. all the way to the 96th overall pick, and they scooped it up. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
