This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Mason Taylor, the No. 99 name on the board, stolen at No. 132. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.
The Griffith pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. A whole weekend of picks and offensive lineman is somehow still a want.
Good work on the whole, with offensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick No. 31 they get a problem off the edge at fair value.
Jayden Higgins at No. 63 is a clear overpay, with better names still on the board. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
They took Andrew Mukuba at par in the Round 3 slot, which is nothing to complain about. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Darien Porter in the 95th pick. A minor need, but a need all the same.
Mason Taylor at Round 4, Pick 31 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
They reached a country mile for Thor Griffith at pick 255, and the board is aghast. The roster fit checks out.
