They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: Richard Jibunor, 159 picks early at the 158th pick.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped tight end, which is a strange place to end up. Oladapo falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.
On the needs board they went 3 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most.
Good work on the whole, with tight end the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
They paid sticker price for Keon Coleman in the 32nd pick, and that is fine. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Gabriel Murphy in pick No. 64 is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. It fills a real need, too.
They did well to land Cam Hart in No. 95, just ahead of his grade. A minor itch, scratched.
Christian Jones in Round 4, Pick 33 is fair value, right on his grade. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Richard Jibunor in the Round 5 slot is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. It does not line up with the team's obvious holes.
Kitan Oladapo in slot 172 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
