The Chiefs looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Jaydon Blue at pick 256 regardless, 74 picks early. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.
Fortune falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through tight end. They went 5 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.
In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
