The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Chiefs reached some 52 spots for Erick All, and value like that does not grow back.
The Washington pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. That offensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
The skill positions did well by the weekend.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but offensive lineman.

In the 32nd overall pick they get a weapon on the perimeter. The biggest hole, addressed.
A conviction pick on Kamren Kinchens at the 64th pick that the board grades a round light. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
DeWayne Carter in No. 95 is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
They barely believed it either: Malik Washington still on the board at pick 133. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
They reached a country mile for Erick All at the Round 5 slot, and the board is aghast. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
