The Chiefs' one glaring miss is tight end, a need they left exactly as they found it. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.
Landing Wallace that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. The skill positions did well by the weekend.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 32nd overall pick they get a weapon on the perimeter. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
A tidy bit of business in pick 64, where T.J. Tampa graded well above the range. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
No edge and no loss on Brenden Rice in Round 3, Pick 32; it is a wash and a sensible one. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
