It is the swing that defines the weekend: Nadame Tucker in Round 4, Pick 9, a good 60 spots before the room expected him. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.
A whole weekend of picks and wide receiver is somehow still a want. That is an offensive lineman worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The trade work was a quiet net positive.
Good work on the whole, with wide receiver the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick No. 29 they get an island corner, outstanding value to boot. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Emmanuel Pregnon in the 55th overall pick is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Darrell Jackson Jr. well ahead of where he belonged. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Jacob Rodriguez is a better player than the 86th pick suggests; smart patience, rewarded. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
Nadame Tucker at Round 4, Pick 9 is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
A conviction pick on Jakobe Thomas at pick 123 that the board grades a round light. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
This one needs a full-page explanation: Trey Zuhn III in Round 6, Pick 23, miles early. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
