Larceny in No. 95 lands the Chiefs a B, Walker and all.

You build a draft on nights like this. Jalon Walker had no business being available in Round 3, Pick 31, and the Chiefs did the only sane thing and turned in the card. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.

The Morris reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. They punted on wide receiver, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.

Pick-by-Pick

R1.31 · Pick 31 · Wyatt Milum · OT · rank 34
In the 31st overall pick they get a blindside protector. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
R2.31 · Pick 63 · Nick Emmanwori · S · rank 22
Nick Emmanwori in No. 63 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
R3.2 · Pick 66 · Tate Ratledge · OG · rank 75
The board had cheaper options than Tate Ratledge at the Round 3 slot, and it noticed. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
R3.31 · Pick 95 · Jalon Walker · LB · rank 20
Circle this one: Jalon Walker at pick No. 95 is a fall that decides a draft. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
R4.31 · Pick 132 · Mason Taylor · TE · rank 82
They will replay Mason Taylor at Round 4, Pick 31 for years; that is how good the value is. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
R7.38 · Pick 256 · Micah Morris · OG · rank 285
Micah Morris at pick 256 is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
