You could see the war room lean forward. Myles Harden at pick No. 252 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.
The tight end spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. If Legette pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but tight end.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick No. 32 they get a go-to option on the outside, though the board says they badly overpaid. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
No edge and no loss on T'Vondre Sweat in pick 64; it is a wash and a sensible one. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
They barely believed it either: Blake Fisher still on the board at the 95th overall pick. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Nice patience on Jarvis Brownlee Jr., who had no business lasting to Round 4, Pick 32. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
