When the story of this class is written, it opens with Dominic Zvada at the 210th pick, a reach of 91 spots that the board flatly disagrees with. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B+.
They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. Landing Hurst that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. The running back hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
Good work on the whole, with running back the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
In Round 1, Pick 29 they get a mismatch in the passing game at a price that makes it sweeter. The biggest hole, addressed.
They robbed the room for Emmanuel McNeil-Warren here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Keionte Scott at pick 74 is the proof. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Ted Hurst in the Round 4 slot should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
A tidy bit of business in No. 148, where J.C. Davis graded well above the range. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
No edge and no loss on Ar'maj Reed-Adams in the 169th overall pick; it is a wash and a sensible one. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Taylen Green in the Round 5 slot is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
This one needs a full-page explanation: Dominic Zvada in pick 210, miles early. They doubled down on a strength rather than a need.
