The board owed the Patriots one, and it paid up: Tre Harris, the No. 49 name on the board, sitting there at the 240th pick like a gift left on the doorstep.
The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped safety, which is a strange place to end up.
Bottom line, with Will Campbell leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.

Circle this one: Will Campbell at pick 30 is a fall that decides a draft. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
The board fumbled Matthew Golden all the way to No. 38, and they scooped it up. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.

Wyatt Milum in the Round 7 slot is a gift, value that borders on unfair. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
